1. Purpose and scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern exclusively the commercial relationship between Carplaygo and any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the website www.carplaygo.com.
Any order implies full and complete acceptance of these GTCS, which shall prevail over any other terms appearing in any other commercial document, unless expressly agreed otherwise by Carplaygo in writing.

3. Products and services
Carplaygo specializes in the sale of wireless CarPlay and Android Auto interface modules designed to modernize the vehicle multimedia interface without replacing the original screen.
Our range includes:

Solutions compatible with more than 220 models and 25 automotive brands
The products are presented on the website with their essential characteristics, price, and availability. The photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible but do not bind Carplaygo with regard to any minor differences.
All our offers are valid while stocks last.
4. Prices and payment terms
4.1 Prices
Prices are stated in euros (€), all taxes included (TTC), including French VAT.
For international orders, prices may be displayed in the local currency for information purposes only. The invoiced price will be the one in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
Carplaygo reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the product will be invoiced on the basis of the rate in effect at the time the order is registered.
4.2 Delivery fees
Delivery is free in mainland France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.

All transactions are secured by an SSL (HTTPS) protocol and processed via PCI-DSS-compliant gateways.
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Payment data is secured and is not stored by Carplaygo.
5. Order and validation
5.1 Ordering process
Validation of your order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC.
The customer is informed clearly and legibly of all sales conditions (price, lead times, warranties, etc.) before validation and payment of the order.
The ordering process includes the following steps:

5.2 Order confirmation
After payment validation, you will receive an order confirmation by email with a unique order number.
Carplaygo reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of:

Previous unresolved dispute

Suspicion of fraud

Out of stock
6. Delivery
6.1 Delivery areas
Carplaygo mainly delivers to mainland France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.
6.2 Timeframes

Preparation: 24 to 72 business hours after order validation

Delivery to mainland France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Italy.
These timeframes are provided for information purposes only and may vary during periods of high activity, strikes, or exceptional weather conditions.
6.3 Delivery terms
The carriers used are specified when placing the order (Colissimo, Chronopost, DHL, etc.). A tracking number will be provided to you as soon as the order is shipped.
The goods travel at the recipient's risk. In the event of damage or loss, the customer must make reservations with the carrier.
6.4 Parcels presented, refused, or not collected
In accordance with Article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the order is deemed delivered and the seller's obligation is considered fulfilled as soon as the parcel:
- has been presented at the customer's address, or
- has been made available at a pickup point, post office, or any other collection location.
Consequently:
- If the parcel has been presented or made available → Carplaygo's obligation is fulfilled.
- If the customer does not collect the parcel or refuses it without a legitimate reason related to transport damage → responsibility lies exclusively with the customer.
In accordance with Articles L216-4, L221-18 and L221-23 of the French Consumer Code:
Refusal or non-collection of a parcel without a legitimate reason does not constitute withdrawal within the meaning of the law. In this case, the sale remains due and Carplaygo is not required to issue a refund.
A new shipment remains possible; however:
- the reshipping costs;
- any return costs;
- as well as any applicable import/export taxes
are entirely borne by the customer.
7. Warranties
7.1 Legal warranties
All our products benefit from the legal warranties in force:

Legal warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code)

Warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code)
7.2 Carplaygo Commercial Warranty
Our products are covered by a 2-year commercial warranty from the date of purchase, covering any malfunction, manufacturer issue, or manufacturing defect.
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear of the product

Damage resulting from improper use
-
Damage caused by incorrect installation
-
Damage resulting from negligence or an accident
7.3 Warranty Implementation
In the event of a problem, contact our after-sales service at service@carplaygo.com and specify your order number.
The defective product may be exchanged or refunded after return and inspection. Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
8. Right of Withdrawal
8.1 Legal Period
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to provide reasons or pay any penalties.
8.2 Extended Carplaygo Period
In accordance with applicable legislation, you have a legal right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from receipt of the product, without conditions or justification, with a full refund and no charges.
Carplaygo extends this period to 45 days on a commercial basis, to offer you additional flexibility. After the first 14 days, this extended right remains subject to the following conditions: unused product, complete, and prior diagnosis with our technical support.
8.3 Terms of Exercise
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must:

8.4 Return conditions
The product must be returned:

New, with no signs of use

In its original packaging

Complete with all its accessories

Within 14 days following notification of your decision to withdraw
8.5 Return shipping costs
Return shipping costs are your responsibility. The return must be made via La Poste or Colissimo with recommended tracked shipping.
8.6 Refund
The refund will be made within 14 days following receipt and verification of the returned product, using the same payment method used for the purchase.
9. Special return conditions
9.1 Programmed products
In accordance with Article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to
“goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized goods”.
9.1.1 Modules configured to order
For the majority of vehicles, CarPlay / Android Auto modules require specific technical configuration (protocol selection, original system, wiring harness, year, vehicle options, etc.). As such, they are considered products configured to order.
Before final validation, Carplaygo undertakes to:
- Analyze the information provided by the customer (system photos, options, year, etc.)
- Offer the most compatible solution for the vehicle
- Clearly inform the customer if no reliable solution is available
Cancellation / withdrawal:
- If no compatible solution exists → cancellation free of charge & full refund.
- If a compatible solution has been proposed and the customer withdraws: an administrative fee of 10% of the order amount will be applied.
- If the customer does not provide the requested information (photos, vehicle details, etc.) within a reasonable time, Carplaygo reserves the right to cancel the order with an administrative fee.
The configuration is carried out solely for the purpose of ensuring the product’s compatibility. In all cases: if no compatible solution is found, the customer will receive a full refund.
9.2 Products on promotion
Items benefiting from a discount remain eligible for the right of withdrawal, unless clearly stated otherwise in the product page, or in the case of a personalized product.
9.3 Personalized products
Products subject to a custom configuration are not eligible for the right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
10. Installation and partners
Carplaygo facilitates the installation of its products through its network of partner garages. These agreements are intended solely to facilitate professional installation at competitive prices.
Carplaygo is not responsible for the service provided by independent partners. Any claim regarding the installation must be addressed directly to the professional concerned.
11. Liability
11.1 Limitation of liability
Carplaygo's liability is limited to the amount of the order. Carplaygo shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11.2 Force majeure
Carplaygo shall not be held liable in the event of non-performance of the contract due to a force majeure event as defined by French case law.
11.3 Compatibility
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the product is compatible with their vehicle before purchase. Compatibility information is provided for guidance only.
11.3.1 CarPlay / Android Auto display and screen format
The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface uses a standard rectangular display format, imposed respectively by Apple and Google, and independent of the vehicle manufacturer.
Depending on the format and shape of the original screen (in particular certain wide, panoramic, or rounded-edge screens), the CarPlay / Android Auto display may not occupy the entire visible surface of the screen. This may result in:
- black bars;
- a slightly reduced display;
- or visual cropping on the sides, particularly when the screen has rounded edges and the rectangular format cannot adapt to it perfectly.
This behavior only concerns display in CarPlay / Android Auto mode. The vehicle's original system retains its full-screen display, original format, and original resolution, without any modification.
This operation is normal, inherent to the technical constraints and display standards imposed by Apple and Google, and does not constitute either a product defect or a compatibility issue.
No modification to the CarPlay / Android Auto display format is possible, as it is entirely managed by the relevant platforms.
Accordingly, these display characteristics alone cannot justify a request for a refund, exchange, or coverage on the grounds of a defect.
12. Personal data
Carplaygo undertakes to respect the confidentiality of personal data collected in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The data collected is necessary for processing your order and managing the commercial relationship. You have the right to access, rectify, object to, and delete your personal data.

13. Intellectual property
All elements present on the site www.carplaygo.com (texts, images, logos, videos, trademarks, etc.) are protected by intellectual property rights and belong to Carplaygo or its partners.
Any reproduction, representation, use, or adaptation, in any form whatsoever, of all or part of these elements, without the prior written authorization of Carplaygo, is strictly prohibited.

14.2 Complaints
In the event of a complaint, we invite you to contact our customer service as a priority, which will endeavor to find an amicable solution as quickly as possible.
14.3 Mediation
In the event of a persistent dispute, you may resort to consumer mediation with the competent mediation body whose contact details are available on our website.
15. Governing law and competent jurisdiction
15.1 Governing law
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
15.2 Competent jurisdiction
In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
For consumers residing in the European Union, the competent courts are those of the consumer's place of residence or Carplaygo's registered office.
16. General provisions
16.1 Partial invalidity
If one or more provisions of these GTC are held to be invalid or are declared as such pursuant to a law, regulation, or final decision of a competent court, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16.2 No waiver
The fact that Carplaygo does not invoke, at any given time, any of these conditions may not be interpreted as a waiver of its right to invoke these same conditions at a later date.
16.3 Modification of the GTC
Carplaygo reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The applicable conditions are those in force on the date of the order.
17. Specific conditions related to installation and supplied hardware

Fragility of electronic modules : Carplaygo cannot be held liable for damage or breakage caused to any electronic module or vehicle component during installation, whether carried out by the customer or by a third party.

Indicative installation time : The stated durations (for example, “20 minutes”) are provided for information purposes only and do not under any circumstances constitute a contractual guarantee. They may vary significantly depending on the model and complexity of the vehicle.

Accessories and tools : Some kits may not include tools if they are deemed unnecessary for installation.

Video support : Explanatory videos or tutorials are available upon express request from our customer support team. They are not systematically included in the package and may not exist for your vehicle.
18. Specific conditions applicable to screens
18.1 Definition and nature of the products
This section applies exclusively to the multimedia screens offered on the site, distinct from the CarPlay / Android Auto interface modules usually marketed by Carplaygo.
These screens:
- Are not manufactured by Carplaygo but by specialized external suppliers;
- Are made-to-order products, manufactured or prepared specifically according to the model, year, and/or characteristics of your vehicle;
- May differ from original manufacturer equipment (brightness, color rendering, responsiveness, ergonomics, perceived quality, visual integration, etc.).
If in doubt, it is the customer's responsibility to contact customer service before placing an order in order to confirm compatibility with their vehicle.
18.2 Made-to-order products – no right of withdrawal
The screens are supplied exclusively on order from external suppliers, based on the information provided by the customer (make, model, year, trim level, etc.).
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply in particular to:
- “goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized”;
- “non-prefabricated goods made on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer”.
As such, the screens are considered made-to-order / personalized products and benefit from no right of withdrawal, including under the extended commercial policy referred to in Article 8.2.
Outside the application of the statutory warranties (conformity, hidden defects) and, where applicable, the manufacturer’s commercial warranty, no refund, exchange, or store credit will be possible for the screens after the order has been confirmed.
18.3 Specific delivery times and terms
As the screens are shipped or sourced via external suppliers, the delivery times indicated when ordering are provided for information purposes only and may be longer than for other Carplaygo products.
In particular:
- Additional delays may occur due to manufacturing, quality control, or transport from the supplier’s warehouse;
- In the event of a stock shortage or supplier delay, the customer will be informed as soon as possible by customer service;
- Any customs clearance or international transit delays cannot be fully controlled by Carplaygo.
Carplaygo nevertheless undertakes to keep the customer informed of the progress of their order and to offer, where possible, an alternative solution or a delivery time adjustment.
18.4 Limited installation support
The screens generally require more advanced technical work than the installation of a standard CarPlay module (removal of trim panels, access to the wiring harness, specific connections, etc.).
Consequently:
- Carplaygo support is limited to remote assistance (general advice, documentation, and diagrams when available);
- Carplaygo does not provide on-site installation services and cannot guarantee real-time assistance during the installation work;
- It is strongly recommended to use a qualified professional for the installation of the screen.
Carplaygo shall not be held liable for damage caused to the vehicle, its electrical or electronic equipment, resulting from incorrect installation, improper handling, or work carried out by an unqualified third party.
18.5 Quality, compatibility and liability
The screens offered are not original manufacturer parts
. Despite the care taken in selecting suppliers, they may present:- Display quality, finish, or responsiveness that differs from that of an original screen;
- Variations in ergonomics, menus, or interface compared with the manufacturer system;
- Possible limitations or changes following software updates of the vehicle or of the screen manufacturer.
Carplaygo guarantees the advertised compatibility based on the information provided by the customer and the data supplied by the manufacturer. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the information provided (model, year, system type, etc.).
The screens remain subject to the applicable statutory warranties (legal guarantee of conformity and warranty against hidden defects). Outside these warranties, Carplaygo's liability is limited to the conditions set out in Article 11 of these Terms and Conditions of Sale and to the amount of the relevant order.
